The annual event Ubud Food Festival will be held between 13th to 15th of April this year. The festival will present approximately 100 culinary experts both from Indonesia and abroad. Confirming her third consecutive appearance in Ubud Food Festival, Indonesian legend Sisca Soewitomo will prepare something to be enjoyed by all attendees. Rinrin Marinka who made frequent appearance in national and regional TV programs including Indonesian version of Gordon Ramsey’s MasterChef and Junior MasterChef is also scheduled to participate. Rinrin’s food program in national TV channel tittled At Home with Marinka is now also taken into Asian Food Channel.
Interested in science application into the pan, Andrian Ishak will demonstrate his skill in molecular gastronomy. Andrian is the mastermind in the kitchen of Namaaz Dining, a fine dining restaurant in Jakarta.
Ubud Food Festival 2018 will also present Rishi Naleendra, the first Sri Lankan Michelin Star chef who command the kitchen of Singapore restaurant Cheek by Jowl. A couple other Michelin Star chefs are Jun Lee of Soigné in Seoul, South Korea and Sam Aisbett of Whitegrass, a fine dining establishment in Singapore.
“The initial announcement of participating experts is only a minor part of delights that we are going to present in April”, the founder and director of Ubud Food Festival, Janet DeNeeve told the press as quoted by local news Kompas. The event will have numerous attractive programs including culinary talk shows, cooking demos, workshops, culinary trips and music performances.
