Turkish Airlines has just established its 300th routes to connect the Thai premier tropical island to Turkish capital Istanbul. The inaugural flight safely touched down at Phuket International Airport on July 17th, 2017. Afterward, the airline will provide 4 times a week service using Airbus A330-300.

Turkish Airlines will depart Ataturk International Airport of Istanbul every Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 14.00 local time and scheduled to arrive at Phuket International Airport on 04.00 the following day. The same aircraft will depart Phuket on 05.30 to fly back to Istanbul and scheduled to arrive at its home base on 12.00.

As quoted by Travel Daily Asia, during the inauguration ceremony, Turkish Airlines’ Deputy Chairman and CEO, Bilal Eski, said “Turkish Airlines is excited to be bringing more value and connectivity to its passengers through its ever expanding network. As an airline that invites people to explore the beauties of our world, it was a natural choice for us to decide on Phuket as our next destination”.

Phuket is the second Turkish Airlines destination after Bankok.
