Accommodation at Villa Ambar Bali

Villa Ambar Bali is comprised of five spacious fully air-conditioned bedrooms each one furnished with king-size beds and equipped with Wi-Fi internet access, safety deposit boxes for your special valuables and en-suite bathrooms.

The master bedroom is expansive and includes smooth, creamy terrazzo floors and floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open onto a private sitting area with access to the pool and offering views of the ocean. The doors can be propped open to invite the gentle sea breezes indoors. This room includes its own TV and DVD player so you can curl up on the bed and watch your favourite film or one of the many international channels with the provided satellite service. A personal dressing room leads to the en-suite bathroom which offers guests the choice of using a large bathtub for a long, relaxing soak or an open-air rain shower. The en-suite bathroom has dual washbasins and a large vanity mirror bordered by gorgeous traditional Balinese teakwood carving.

The second and third bedrooms are identical and both have large sliding glass doors that allow natural sunlight to fill the rooms during the day. Private dressing areas lead to the en-suite bathrooms complete with cool, vanilla white floors, dual washbasins, vanity mirrors and rain showers.
The fourth and fifth bedrooms also include sliding glass doors with views of the ocean but are connected via a door that can be locked for privacy. These rooms are decorated with traditional Balinese paintings and antique carvings and their en-suite bathrooms have rain showers, washbasins and large vanity mirrors.

The dining experience at Villa Ambar Bali is superb as guests will sit around circular tables in comfortable rattan furniture in an open-air pavilion cooled by ceiling fans and gentle tropical breezes. This is where feasts are served each night by the villa’s private chef who is highly skilled in a variety of cuisines, so whatever your flavour preference, he’s sure to please. Whether it’s the delicious local food you crave like ikan bakar (grilled fish) or just a juicy steak, it’s your choice. If you have a special dietary request, please inform him with enough time to accomplish the necessary shopping and he’ll be delighted to oblige.

After your meal, retire to the villa’s private media room where you can stretch out on large cushioned couches and watch a quality film on the enormous LCD TV and DVD player. This fully air-conditioned room offers ocean views and a sound system so your films really come to life.

Villa Ambar Bali includes a huge infinity pool overlooking the ocean and gardens that’s perfect for a refreshing dip any time of day or night. Its crystalline blue waters blend with the emerald hues of the surrounding garden. Gorgeous white Palimanan stone forms the edge of the pool while the manicured lawn dotted with gray stones is topped with sun loungers where you can comfortably work on your tan or just recline under the shade of an umbrella with a cold beverage. Additionally, off to the side of the pool is a separate, completely alfresco dining area shaded by a pergola roof.

For even more choices, guests can avail themselves of the facilities for all of the Semara Uluwatu villas which include a fully equipped gym with free weights, treadmills and exercise bikes, a tennis court, an enormous 28 meter infinity pool, a helicopter for guest use (at extra cost), and the one and only Finn’s Beach Club.

Designed as a traditional beachside hut with thatched roofing, Finns blends with the surrounding environment and offers a full service bar and restaurant, a private white sand beach lined with sun loungers, and tranquil turquoise waters enclosed by dramatic green-covered cliffs.
