The Cinnamon room is the converted study which features two four-post twin beds flanked by nightstands supporting groovy lamps of Japanese cartoon characters. One of the most gratifying parts of staying at Villa Chalina Estate Bali is the dining experience. The huge open-air dining pavilion, covered by a traditional alang-alang thatched roof and walls bursting with colourful modern art is absolutely exquisite. The whole place is lit up by soft lighting from the lamps posted on the teakwood support pillars. The long wooden table that accommodates 10 guests is simply elegant and is surrounded by funky purple cushioned seating matching the colours of the art. In the middle of all of this beauty, while soothing breezes waft through the space, your personal villa chef will be serving you a scrumptious meal designed to wow anyone’s taste buds. Being expertly trained in a wide range of dishes, from Western-style surf and turf to exotic Asian-spiced delicacies, he can tailor a dinner to suit anyone’s dietary requirements. If you do happen to have specific needs, just let him know in advance in order to complete the necessary shopping.
After your meal, you may wish to retire to the nearby living room and unwind on the gigantic wrap-around purple couch for a few cocktails with friends. It’s an excellent place for catching up and socialising in a relaxing alfresco environment.
Just across from the living and dining pavilion, is a cinema room complete with a lounge bar. Kick up your feet and enjoy the film on one of the cushioned Indonesian long chairs at the front of this room while cocktails are served from the slick, black granite bar nearby. The doors to this room can be opened wide allowing striking views of the nearby Pangi river and estate grounds.
How about a refreshing nighttime dip in the swimming pool? This 30 meter long monstrosity can accommodate those that just want to get their feet wet to those that wish to stay active with a few laps. Whilst the island has a long string of luxury villas, not many Bali villas have a swimming pool at this size. A relaxation bale in the middle provides an ideal spot to rest and recuperate on the daybeds in the shade, or you can sprawl out on the nearby sun loungers and catch some rays during the day.
